In a tragic incident outside the Bucharest residence of internet personality Andrew Tate, his pitbull named "G" was fatally shot by local police after allegedly attacking a journalist conducting an interview on the public sidewalk.

The journalist, identified as 34-year-old freelance reporter Elena Popescu, was reportedly interviewing passersby about recent political developments when the incident occurred. According to eyewitnesses, the dog escaped from Tate's property and charged at Popescu, causing serious injuries.

"It was sudden and terrifying," said local resident Mihai Ionescu. "The dog lunged at the woman without warning."

Emergency services were called immediately. Upon arrival, officers attempted to restrain the animal, but when it continued its aggressive behavior, they were forced to use lethal force to prevent further harm.

Popescu was transported to a nearby hospital, where she is being treated for multiple bite wounds. Her condition is reported as stable.

Andrew Tate, known for his controversial online presence and ownership of several dogs, including "G," has not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
